PSSSSST...

Ples je kot pogovor. On govori, jaz pa ga skušam razumeti.

Ko bo naslednjič Peggy Lee zapela »Why Don't You Do Right«, si želim, da mi zgodbe ne poveš. Zašepetaj mi jo.

Dancing is like having a conversation. He does the talking and I try to understand his language.

Dancing to medium tempo music is like having a normal conversation.

Fast lindy is talking in a crowded bar, it’s a conversation at a very loud jazz jam session. You don’t understand every word but you get the point he was trying to make.

And then there’s slow lindy which I consider as whispering. More intimate, something between the two of us. It’s telling the whole story like you’re sharing a secret.

The next time Peggy Lee sings “Why Don’t You Do Right?” I wish you don’t tell me a story. I hope you whisper it.
